We have been designed and created for relationship. First and most of all for relationship with God - because He is the One who gave us life - His life.
It's in that relationship with Him that we find our deepest life - our greatest joy and delight, our most profound sense of meaning and purpose, our most lasting satisfaction and fulfillment, and much more.
In Him we find our true Home - where we belong. And that no one can take from us.
It's where we find our deepest love. Being loved by Him - unconditionally - and being able to love from His love in us.
We still have the echoes of an old nature to deal with. One that has been brought up in the lies and deceit of the enemy to think that we can find true life in something other than God. One that keeps us questioning and doubting God.
That old nature does not want to submit to God - and the reality is, it can't.
It doesn't make sense to our old nature and old mind, that submitting to God is actually where we find our freedom. If we aren't submitting to God (which is a free choice we get to make), then we are in submission to the enemy (that's where we are apart from God).
Not choosing God is a choice - to stay where we are - in slavery and submission to the kingdom of darkness - a kingdom of lies and deceit, of stealing, killing, and destroying.
Or we can choose to surrender to God, to the kingdom of light - of love, joy, and peace, and everything that is good and abundant. Of freedom to grow into all that we have been designed and created to be and do.
The choice is ours.
Part of why we struggle with choosing a relationship with God is because we really don't KNOW Him. We have been taught things about Him that are just not true, that keep us from seeing Him for who He really is. From my experience, the more you get to really KNOW Him the more amazed you will become at just how awesome He is!
Another reason we struggle is that we have not been taught how to HEAR HIS VOICE - and that is The Secret Key I mentioned in the video above. 🙂 Because once we know how to hear His voice, we can actually "relate" to Him - we can have conversations WITH Him and get to KNOW Him. We've rarely, if ever, seen that modelled in others, so how can we do something we don't even know is possible? And the thing is, once you learn how, you will see just how simple and easy it is!
That's what I want to do with Best Life Relationship. To teach AND show you what is possible in a real relationship with God.
To give you a sense of what that can be like. To have you EXPERIENCE that for yourself.
That will change you! Not because you are still painfully and unsuccessfully struggling to be worthy of God. Because your worthiness before God is not something you can accomplish - it is a free gift that He gives you through His life in you. And HIS LIFE in you will change you and set you free!
If your heart hungers for God, I invite you to come and get to KNOW Him. To say YES! to His invitation to have a real and deeply personal relationship with Him.
You have no idea how deeply HE desires that! How much HIS heart longs for that. How much HE has done to make it possible for you to have a relationship with Him. A relationship that will be blessed and abundant in every way, more than you can even imagine.
